
Bola Olumegbon Lawal was born into the prestigious Olumegbon family on 29th March, 1965. She started her elementary school at Reagan Memorial Baptist Girls Primary School, from where she proceeded to Reagan Memorial Baptist Girls Secondary 1977.
However, she was transferred to Aje Comprehensive High School as one of the pioneering students in class 3 from where she did her WASSCE. She then proceeded to Speedwriting International Secretarial College to obtain her diploma.
Bola Olumegbon Lawal then proceeded to the prestigious University of Lagos to lay the foundation for her contributions to societal development by obtaining a degree in Business Administration. Persuaded by her passion for public service, she went back to University of Lagos to bag a Master’s degree in Public Administration. Bola Olumegbon Lawal worked at Nigerian Breweries Pie for over a decade. She worked across several departments in the notable organization, her last port of call being Public Relations department.
Her hobbies include reading and travelling. She is a Christian by religion and she is married. She was elected as the Executive Vice-Chairman Yaba Local Council Development Authority from 2011to 2014. She was also appointed the Executive Secretary, Yaba Local Council Development Area from January 2015 to June 2016.
